HOW TO COOK SUKHA MUTTON/DRY LAMB FRY?

Step 1: Marinate the pieces of mutton

Mutton pieces should be soaked in lukewarm water with a pinch of salt and turmeric after the mutton fat has been removed. After that, drain the extra water. Blend all of the entire spices together given in FARM2COOK mutton marination paste section in a blender. For 2 to 3 hours or overnight, let the mutton chunks marinate in this.

Step 2. Cook the marinated mutton

Now take the marinated lamb meat in a pressure cooker and cook for few whistles based on your cooker model. Along with the marinated meat, add Salt, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder.

Step 3: Saute the spices

Cook the mutton until it is cooked and set apart. In a separate pan, heat the oil. Add star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Fry for one or two minutes. (adding small amount of ghee will enhance the taste and aroma of dish)

Step 4: Add mutton, onion, green peppers, tomatoes, and curry leaves.

Add the green peppers and onions. Onions should be fried till golden brown. Curry leaves and tomatoes should be added. Add the mutton pieces after cooking for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 5: Cook until the oil separates and the food is dry.

Add the pepper powder now, and turn up the heat. Cook until the mixture dries out and the oil begins to separate. Serve it hot with rice or roti after transferring it to a serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves or spring onion.
