Chicken is marinated in yogurt, charred, then cooked in a thick, creamy, spicy sauce for the traditional Indian delicacy known as tikka masala. Garam Masala, a mixture of cinnamon, black pepper, coriander, cumin, and cardamon, is responsible for the stunning hue. It has a delicate, rich, sweet, and distinct flavor.
PREPARATION-
STEP 1- Use Soft Chicken pieces and Marinate them for about 6-8 hours
No introduction is necessary for this scrumptious Chicken Tikka Masala. We are optimistic that if you follow these easy procedures, you can cook it at home and improve your culinary abilities, even though it could seem difficult to make.
Clean and wash the chicken parts. Put the chicken thighs in a shallow dish after cutting them into medium-sized pieces.
Take a bowl, add the curd, ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon each of coriander and cumin, turmeric, and cumin powder. In order for the flavors to fully meld, marinate the chicken pieces and place them in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.
The chicken pieces need to be marinaded well for a superb Chicken Tikka Masala.

STEP 2- Making chicken tikka masala
Oil is heated over medium heat in a sizable, heavy pot. Add onion to cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes or until onion is transparent. Add cardamom and chilies. Cook, stirring frequently, the remaining half of the spice combination until the bottom of the saucepan starts to brown, about 4 minutes.
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute until fragrant.
Add the tomatoes and their juices, smashing the tomatoes as you do so. Cover and cook, lower the heat, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently and scraping up any browned pieces from the bottom of the pot.
Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala.
When masala removes from oil and heavy cream and sautes until thickens.
Now add the main ingredient, the broiler chicken pieces and saute. Add some water and Cook for 15 minutes.
STEP 3- Garnish and serve hot
Once the chicken tikka is cooked, garnish with mint or cilantro or coriander leaves. This gives an extra aroma to the recipe. You can also add butter or ghee as final touch.
Serve with roti, naan, butter naan, bread, chapati, parotta, etc. I bet you will love it.
